I'm sorry to have to disappoint your own assessment of the Department. ATTACHED IS A COPY OF THE ORDER ISSUED WHICH I USED AS GUIDELINE FOR THE COMPLAINT of July 14, 2005.
May I draw your attention to the DIRECT CONTRADICTION of your claim in the above indicated letter in your Departments OWN WRITTEN ORDER attached! All obvious items NOT REMEDIED are marked by a red arrow! Now, would you please explain the gross discrepancies?
Sincerely,D. Hadorn

Upon an inspection, written request, and the usual time consuming battle to obtain information from the fire department, I finally received the following partial order of fire code safety violations for the Barcelona Manor Condominiums.
It must be noted:
The Fire Department addressed this violations to the “Members!” Why NOT the BOARD & MANAGEMENT - they were the recipients? Is this protectionism from the Fire Department for the "bad Apples" of the Barcelona Manor Condominium board & management?
The members NEVER received this notice and are left in the dark about the GRAVE fire Safety Code Violations.
THE VIOLATIONS TO DATE, HAVE NOT BEEN REMEDIED AND ARE WANTONLY IGNORE BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT SAFETY DIVISION!
One has to question:
“Why is there such this protectionism for the board & management - while the owners and renters lives are readily permitted to be endangered?

RE: BARCELONA MANOR CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION
FAILURE TO ENFORCE YEAR OLD LIFE THREATENING FIRE SAFETY CODE VIOLATION(S)
EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHTS (HALLWAY'S)!!!
Dear Mr. Kimble:
Over one year ago, the Barcelona was ordered to comply with the fire safety code, and your department issued a directive of the violations to be corrected to the Barcelona Manor Association Board Members.
To date, SAID VIOLATIONS HAVE NOT BEEN CORRECTED.
During the power outage on the 12th of July, we, the inhabitants of the Barcelona Manor Association, had to realize that the EMERGENCY LIGHTS WERE ALL DARK! This is a very grave dereliction of duty by the agent in charge for this region.
As I understand, you have NOT removed Dennis Stiegleiter, who maliciously and willfully appears to refuse the enforcement of the fire safety code violation(s) as issued for the Barcelona Manor Association last year.
In case of a fire, due to what appears to be an act of wanton dereliction of duty and blatant refusal to enforce the fire safety code violations, we, the patrons living at the Barcelona Manor Condominium Association, are facing a potentially life threatening situation.
Are we, the patrons of the Barcelona Manor Association not worthy of the same protection in common with all other people of this district accorded by law and the fire safety code? Would this not equally qualify as “unequal treatment” and endangerment of a minority class?
This leaves the fire safety departments door wide open for claims of libel!
Sincerely,
D. Hadorn
